OMADA Translations’ Team is led by the Managing Director, Mr. Dimitris Moutafis. Dimitris is a former military, insurance broker and qualified translation and social media specialist with more than 10 years experience in the translation and private education industries in Greece.
His experience includes working as an instructor and digital communications consultant for 3 well-known private educational organisations in Greece as well as a localisation and digital communications and social media consultant for a number of Greek local companies and individual business professionals. In 2012, he was heavily involved in the curriculum preparation of the first social media educational programme in Greece for an established college in Athens.
Dimitris first joined OMADA as a trainee translator in 2007, when the company was still the sole Greek representative of a major European contractor for the European Commission. In 2012, OMADA became an independent translation company, with Dimitris as an external major English<>Greek translator and project manager.
In 2015, Dimitris became the company’s Managing Director and reestablished OMADA under his ownership, as a fully independent translation and terminology management consulting company.
