OMADA has succeeded in the GEN16-02-033EL call for tenders by the Translation Centre of the Bodies of the European Union for the provision of translation services regarding texts in the general affairs field from English into Greek. The contracted service includes provision of translation services regarding texts in the general affairs field relating to the work of the various bodies and institutions of the European Union for which the Translation Centre provides translation and other language services.
The services to be provided mainly consist of translations, but may include the revision of texts already translated as well as modifications to be translated, revised and added to existing documents. The texts in question are primarily reports and studies covering a variety of subject matters in the general affairs field. There are also texts of a purely administrative nature relating to the functioning of the bodies and institutions of the European Union – minutes of meetings, work programs, etc. The texts are almost exclusively intended for publication.
This contract expands OMADA’s cooperation with the EU institutions and we are very excited about the new opportunity. OMADA has been providing translation services for the European Union for nearly three decades. Now, with this new interesting project, we will also be implementing our new language technology solutions, such as SDL’s new translation management software and terminology quality tools.
The contract duration is 48 months and OMADA provides the services in close cooperation with a team of prestigious Greek translators and terminology experts.
